About the role
At Northampton Children’s Trust we have many reasons to be proud of our existing services for children, young people, and their families. We have a fantastic opportunity for you to support and engage our young people, we are offering a fixed term apprenticeships for 2 years, which will give you further qualifications to enter youth work posts. Your base will be at Russell House in Northampton, and you will be located within the Leaving Care Team.
What will you be doing?
The Leaving Care Team want to recruit a person who has experience of the care system to support our service. Within this role you will support with our social media platforms, events, create and run groups and be a part of practice change through talking to Care Experienced young people to develop the service. You will keep electronic records up to date and attend multi-agency meetings. You will need to be IT literate and have or working towards your English and Maths level 2.
