About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Environmental Protection Team following a full team restructure. We are looking to recruit two Environmental Protection Officers. 

We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic and confident individuals with drive and determination. The roles will be both office and home based and will be working across the whole of North Northamptonshire.

What will you be doing?

You would be working within the busy Environmental Protection Team and will be responsible for statutory duties related to Statutory Nuisance, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting and planning and licensing consultations. You will be responsible your own case load, dealing with complaints, inspections and enforcement.

About you

The postholder will require a good, overall standard of education to A level or equivalent standard. Experience of working in an environmental health or similar regulatory role is desirable.
