About the role

Longlands Care home provides exceptional levels of support in nursing, residential and Dementia care.   

It is situated in Daventry, and it offers a wonderful living environment in which our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.   

We have teams of friendly and committed staff who provide the highest level of dementia care and residential care.   

With our great accommodation and facilities and a programme of activities, our care home evokes a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check. West Northamptonshire Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

What will you be doing?

  • Following a clear cleaning schedule and perform general housekeeping tasks, clean and sanitize bathrooms and toilets.
  • Replenish supplies and help maintain stock levels, ensure all rooms are cared for and meet the required standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.    

About you

Are you detail orientated and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? 

Do you have a strong work ethic and passion for cleanliness?   if so, Longlands are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and friendly to join our team. 

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and efficiently, have a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations and importance of adhering to policy and procedures.
