The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role. The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
About the role
We are seeking to recruit six Local Area Partnership (LAP) Project Leads to support the successful implementation and mobilisation of the nine Local Area Partnerships (LAP) across West Northants. This is an exciting opportunity to support local communities, improve outcomes and reduce inequalities and contribute to the delivery of the Northamptonshire Live Your Best Life (LYBL) Strategy . There are five LAPs covering the Northampton area and four LAPs covering the Daventry and South Northants area. Each role will be aligned to one or two LAPs and lead on the delivery of the identified priorities and coordinate the production of the LAP core products.
What will you be doing?
Hosted by Public Health in West Northamptonshire Council on behalf of Integrated Care Northamptonshire the role deals with delivering a broad ranging programme of work to support the implementation and sustainability of our LAPs. It will require the post holder to manage a wide range of relationships and work closely with multiple stakeholders including colleagues from the VCSE, Health, Adult Social Care, Childrens Services, Police, Fire & Safety, Public Health, GPs, Town & Parish Councils and our Elected Members.
Main responsibilities
- Lead on the development of a comprehensive LAP Delivery Plan to include activities and outcomes and ensure they are mapped to the LYBL ambitions.
- Work with internal and external colleagues to develop the LAP Communications Plan including website, LAP Engagement Plan and LAP scorecard.
- Lead on the development of all pilots/projects as agreed by the LAP membership and work with stakeholders to agree solutions.
- Ensure all priorities identified as needing a Multi Agency Team approach align with and delivers on the LYBL ambitions.
- Work in partnership with colleagues in WNC to identify where (wider determinants of health) services are best delivered at LAP level and assist with re-design.
- Work in collaboration with other LAP Project Leads to share learning and best practice (Learning Set approach).
About you
You will need to have proven project management experience along with influencing and strong leadership skills. You will be willing to work on your own initiative and flexibly whilst working with a range of stakeholders on behalf of West Northants Council and West Northants Health and Wellbeing Board.
Knowledge of council and/or health environments will be advantageous.
