About the role

The 18-64 Adult Mental Health South Cambridgeshire Team have a vacancy for Social Worker based Union House in Cambridge.

These roles are hybrid with a mix of office and home working.

What will you be doing?

You will be providing interventions under the Care Act 2014, including Safeguarding, for people who are open to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust, and for people who identify as having Mental Health needs but are not open to mental health services.  This will include: assessments; reviews; carers assessments; relationship building; direct interventions; and partnership working with multidisciplinary and multi agency colleagues. 

You will also be working under the frameworks of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983

About you

We're looking for confident and dynamic individuals who enjoy making a difference in their local community, are curious and spot things that others might not see, enjoys building relationships and likes to explore possibilities.

You must:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
  • Have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently
