About the role

The Park & Ride & Busway service is seeking to recruit an additional new Public Transport Co-ordinator to work at any of our 7 sites in Cambridge, St.Ives and Longstanton. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the day to day operation of a Park & Ride site or Guided Busway, ensuring high standards of customer service are provided and that the site facilities are maintained to a safe standard.

Interviews will be held at Trumpington Park and Ride week commencing 22/07/2024.

What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will be required to monitor the sites and Busway, to provide a high level of customer care and information to passengers and maintain the high standards of a flagship transport service.  The job will involve some weekend working on a shift basis and cleaning duties.  It will also involve patrolling sites and the Busway in all weathers.

 

About you

Candidates will need to demonstrate a good understanding of customer service, a detailed knowledge of the area and have experience of dealing with the public.You will require good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, and an ability to be flexible to meet changing demands.
