About the role

The post of Targeted Support Assistant Manager is an exciting role, providing local leadership and coordination of early help provision in a specific geographical area. We are looking to recruit a full time (37 hours) District Manager for the South Cambs district.

Within the role you will manage and lead a multidisciplinary targeted support team through the application of Think Family principles, working with schools, health and other partner agencies. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional who wants to move into their first management role within children’s services. You will receive effective supervision and strong peer support.

The Targeted Support team consists of a number of roles; Young People Workers, Transition Advisers, Family Workers, Assistant Managers and the Child and Family Centre Team. You will work closely with the other Assistant Managers, the District Safeguarding Managers and their teams.  Additionally, you will build an effective relationship with the Early Help Hub.

You should bring enthusiasm to the role, and must be committed to further developing excellent practice.
