About the role
As a Human Resource and Recruitment Assistant at North Northamptonshire Council, you will be at the heart of our HR operational advisory team collaborating with colleagues to deliver an efficient HR administration and recruitment service to all areas of the organisation.
You will reflect our “One Council” values and behaviours, ensuring that these are embedded within the culture of our organisation and leading by example.
The role will require travel between North Northamptonshire Council Offices.

What will you be doing?
This role offers an opportunity to provide a comprehensive and effective HR administration and recruitment service.
You will be the first point of contact to answer first line HR queries, directing managers to their nominated advisory support as required.
As a Recruitment Assistant you will be supporting managers by continually developing our recruitment process to ensure best value for The Council.
Key points of the role will include:
- Timely response to customer needs.
- Maintain various HR systems and databases
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Monitoring HR inboxes.
- Assisting with general HR issues

About you
The successful candidates must have good working knowledge with Microsoft Office Packages such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. This can be demonstrated by experience or certification.
You will have great verbal, written, communication and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met.
Interviews will be held on Monday 10th February 2025.
