We embrace new ways of working, allowing our social work teams to work where they need to. You’ll be part of a collaborative team environment with strong working relationships with health professionals and partners to achieve better outcomes for the adults we support.

We are a supportive service, passionate about development, embracing flexible working, and facilitating opportunities for our workforce to showcase their strengths and thrive.

Interviews will be held by Microsoft Teams and will take place the week beginning the 10th of February.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

What will you be doing?

You will liaise with other departments, undertake Social Care and Mental Capacity Act assessments, and plan care and support to achieve better outcomes for the adults we support.

About you

You must have a genuine desire to support people and put the individual at the heart of everything. You need to be inquisitive and provide evidence-based, proportionate recording with a keen focus on strength-based practice.

Join us for a challenging and highly rewarding career in social care, where you will have every opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
